Q-Stick Simplifies Sensor Installation

Depending on pipe size and manhole depth, many Flo-Tote users will find that sensors can be installed and removed without manhole entry through the use of the Marsh-McBirney Q-stick.

The Q-stick consists of a telescoping fiberglass pole and a lever & pulley system that "pinches" the sensor band allowing it to be installed from outside the manhole.

Capabilities/Features include:

• Can be used in most manholes up to 15 feet or deeper
• Can be used in pipe sizes from 6 inches to 18 inches
• Confined space entry not required
• One person, easy operation
• Telescoping pole, adjustable to 24 feet
• Adjustable angles on the band 'pincherä mechanism
• Standard threads allow for different tools (profiling, mirror, video, etc).
